Irkutsk and Lake Baïkal (7 days/6 nights)

Presentation
Located halfway between Moscow and Vladivostok, Irkutsk is a beautiful Siberian city. Crossed by the River Angara, the city is home to many wooden houses. City of exile for many Decembrists, it was given the nickname "Siberian Paris". Irkutsk is located just a few kilometers from Lake Baikal, a freshwater sea right in the heart of Siberia.
A typical week program
- Departure by Trans-Siberian train 002M or 008N on Friday at 22h35
- Arrival in Irkutsk on Sunday morning at 6h16
- Transfer by bus to Listvianka, a charming fishing village, and visit on the road of the museum of wooden architecture "Taltsy"
- Accommodation at Irina's place (3 nights)
- Monday : Visit of the village, visit of the Baikal museum and of the Nerpinarium. Omul tasting
- Tuesday : Excursion by boat to Bolchoi Koty. Overnight on site
- Wednesday : Back to Listvianka. Walk in the village Krestovka and visit of the St Nicolas church. Buying souvenirs at the Listvianka market
- Thursday : Transfer by boat to Port-Baikal, and train Circumbaikal to Sludianka. Back to Irkutsk in the evening
- Transfer and overnight at the hotel
- Visit of the historical city center. Visit of the houses-museum of the Decembrists
- Overnight at the hotel
- Saturday : Departure by plane to Moscow
Budget
It will cost you about 5000 rubles for the train ticket in Kupe (2800 rubles if you choose to travel in Platzkart). Accommodation will cost about 4000 roubles for the 4 nights in Listvianka and from 4000 to 6000 rubles for the 2 nights in Irkutsk. Bus and Circumbaikal tickets will cost you maximum 2000 roubles. On request we can proceed to the weekend booking for you and include it in your contract (Booking fees: 25 Euros or 1000 rubles if you pay directly at the centre).
